[ The feed flickers on to Naegi, who appears to be somewhere in Ice Path at the moment. The cave wall behind him is white with snow and ice and his breath is turning into mist in the chilly air. His hood has been pulled up so far over his head that it casts a shadow, making his face seem darker than it actually is. Fuck the cold, man.

The coat he's wearing is sticky with a thick layer of goo and the culprit behind it is none other than the ~~Goomy~~ Bloober he's cradling in his arms. Said Bloober has been wrapped in a towel, effectively making it look like some kind of slimeball burrito. ]

So what have you guys learned about our, um, slimy friends so far? Ishimaru-kun and I are helping this guy here through Ice Path and so far we...don't really know much about it. It doesn't seem to like the cold very much which could mean it's part Grass.

[ That's...a reasonable assumption to make, right? Flying's out of the question and he's pretty sure dragons aren't tiny slimeballs. Then again, it looks nothing like a plant... ]

Or it's just better suited for warmer places? It resembles a slug and I think gastropods are cold-blooded so maybe that's why it doesn't like this place. I don't think Johto is its natural habitat at all...

[ There's a pause as he shifts the Bloober around in his arms. There's one last thing he wants to ask. ]

Anyway...we'll be in Blackthorn in a few days, hopefully, so I was wondering what's worth seeing there? We're going there for the hot springs but I want to see the other things the city has to offer.

[He nods with a chuckle, idly petting the top of his Electrike's head.]

Gooslug sounds like a cool name too! But I guess people can just call it whatever they want until we actually figure out what it is, yeah?

Y-yeah. I'm sure somebody will figure that out eventually...until then, it'll be a slimy little mystery.

[ He reaches into his backpack that's off-camera and retrieves some food, offering it to the Goomy. ]

Electrike's your starter, right? He's cute.

[A slimy, cute mystery! Jimmy can't help but smile as he watches Naegi feed the little blob.]

Uh-huh! Eheh, thank you. I'm still trying to come up with a good nickname for him.

Ah... I've had that problem before. It's hard to come up with a good name. Sometimes it takes me several days to nickname new members of my team.

[ And usually it results with him being terribly unoriginal, like when he named his shiny Ditto "Sora" because it means sky and skies are blue. ]

[Unoriginal or not, at least he can think of something. Jimmy fears he'll be stuck calling Electrike Electrike forever.]

Hopefully I'll be able to think of something soon! Maybe I will when I head for Cherrygrove.

..I hope you don't mind me asking, but how many Pokémon do you have so far?

I don't mind at all. Let's see... [ Give him a few second as he does a quick count in his head. ]

I've got eighteen so far.

How did you catch so many?

[More than likely they weren't all caught- some could have come from eggs- but that's conveniently slipped his mind for the moment.]

I only caught about a third of them, actually. The rest were given to me or I bought them as eggs.

Oooh, ok! Still though, that's super cool.

[Jimmy's going to feel proud of himself after catching/obtaining one other Pokémon, let alone seventeen.]

So does that mean you've been here for a while..? ..or have you just gotten a whole ton of eggs?

Um, I've been here since April last year... That's a little over ten months and a half.

[ Wow, time sure flies, now that he thinks about it. ]

I don't mind, though. I like this world.

Oh wow...yeah, I really like this place so far! It seems nice.

[He wouldn't mind staying here for a while, honestly.]

It is nice, if you ask me. [ Pokéworld is a billion times better than murderschool let's be real here. ]

I get to explore the world and hang out with my classmates and do all sorts of things. And I've met a lot of interesting people here.

[Oh yeah, no question. Pokeworld and murderschool don't exactly compare well.]

Oh I did, actually! Just a few hours ago!

[There's a slight muffling over the feed as he rummages in his backpack to pull out a medium-sized egg so Naegi can see.]

I can't wait for it to hatch!

[ Naegi leans in closer to the camera to get a better look. Orange usually means a Fire-type but he gets the feeling it's not the case here. ]

What sort of Pokémon's going to hatch from it?

A Buizel!

[He pauses, frowning a bit.]

I'm not sure what a Buizel is, though.

[Unfortunately, his Pokedex is rather unfilled at the moment so he wasn't able to get any help from it.]

Ah, Buizel's a Water-type. They kind of resemble otters. I don't own one myself, but they sure are cute...

Oh, neat!

[Jimmy looks back down at the egg with a grin, running his fingers over the top of it.]

I was told it would take a week or so for it to hatch, so I'm gonna have to take real good care of it until then.

[Basically by zipping it up in his backpack and not bothering it until it hatches, because Lord knows Jimmy isn't the most coordinated child.]

Ah, that's not too difficult -- just keep it warm and safe. I tend to wrap them in towels for extra warmth, or keep them near a Fire-type.

Mmm, I don't have any fire-types, but I do have some towels...so I can prolly use those.
