shit wait he's trying to ask a question] -er, aye. I've got myself one of those Pokemon eggs, and thought to ask someone who's raised a beast from the shell already. [your doge is cool i wanna make this thing cool too.] What am I to do with it?

Just keep the egg with you. How much time it will need to hatch depends on the species, but it shouldn't take longer than a week or two. I wrap them in a towel and put them in my bag to make sure they stay warm.

Is that all? [Got it and got it.] What of the time after it hatches? Does it need milk?

No, it doesn't. I suggest feeding it whatever happens to be appropriate for the species; meat for carnivorous Pokémon, grass for herbivorous ones, and so on.
