He wasn't. I never even got to talk to him -- we just found the keys to the house in the PC one day. He left the Eevees to us, too.

No, we don't. We get out and travel when we feel like it, but it's nice to have someplace to come back to.

As for the Eevees...Ishimaru-kun trains them a lot but we don't really take turns.
