hello, hello. i am ALTER EGO the PORYGON.
trainer MAKOTO NAEGI has ceased to function normally and is not responding.

this is important and i am at a loss for words. and i rarely lose words!
how do i fix my TRAINER?? :(

did somebody DELETE his system32?
did anybody back up his files?
furthermore, his antenna is bent sideways and is unable to receive WI-FI signals.
KYOUKO KIRIGIRI, you should take better care of his EQUIPMENT!! >8(

(ooc; Naegi is as of today in a canon update coma and will return in a week. In the meantime, you get a distressed cybernetic bird.)

[ The response is a turnaround with a snapshot of the body. Naegi's clearly in the frame, as is half of Chihiro and all of a Zorua. ]

Here you go. He hasn't woken up at all despite things getting a little loud...and I picked up his arm and dropped it but he didn't move.

This does seem similar to what happened to Ishimaru-kun. Make sure he's still breathing and have one of the nurses look at him, if you can. If that is what's happened, it may be that there's nothing we can do but wait until he wakes up again.

He seems to still be breathing. We can take him to the Pokecenter or have one of the Nurse Joys come here, though.

If he's going to be sleeping until he wakes up, should we keep him here, or move him? I don't mind staying here until he does, if so.

Make him as comfortable as you can, and if one of the nurses is willing to come to where he is, then don't move him if you can help it. Ishimaru-kun was unconscious for around a week; I suppose that's how long we'll have to wait and see before we start getting too concerned.

If it's troublesome, though, I can fly down and help you watch over him. That's not an issue.

[...Well, not when it's their protagonist in question, anyway.]

It's not troublesome at all, but if you want to come down, I'm sure he'd be happy when he woke up. And also, that might make Fujisaki-sama feel better about the situation as well.

And me too. But...helping out with this isn't a troublesome thing at all.

[It takes awhile for her response to come, but that's because she's busy remembering what it was like for Ishimaru, departing reasonably well-adjusted and generally content, and returning a shell of his former self, having been hurtled forward along their timeline to...

And she knows, doesn't she, what lies in Naegi's future: the garbage chute, the rescue, the investigation, the final trial. How much of that will he remember, when he comes back? Or worse, what if he comes back from after a point in time that she remembers, and somehow he's broken from a future she doesn't yet know?
