3rd rebuttal; video (action for Violet)
( ACTION; Violet City )
[ The spoiler bomb Asahina dropped on him last month has been difficult to deal with, for understandable reasons; it's not anything a teenager (or anyone) should ever have to deal with. Talking to Ishimaru has done wonders, as did taking his time to absorb everything. Monobear never gave them the time they needed back inside the school so in a way, just...having that is great. It's still a heavy weight to carry, but he's back on his feet and ready to keep walking forward.
Naegi is much more resilient than he thinks he is, and he has his friends.
That said, he decided to buy a camera as a way to deal with his amnesia. It's a long shot given he has no idea how the memories were even removed to begin with, but he's hoping to make memories of the forgotten years resurface by creating and preserving new ones; and if it doesn't work, he will still have these new ones with him. New, happy memories of his friends. If he can have that, he's pretty much content. ]
[ People in Violet City may run into Naegi and his entourage of Pokémon today. All of his Pokémon are out of their Pokéballs and judging from the camera he's holding, he's trying to get his band of critters to pose for a group picture.
It's...not going too well. He has over ten of them and half of them start doing their own thing as soon as Naegi turns his back. ]
Yumie, stay still for a second, please? [ The Togetic chirps, tilting its head. If the birdthing could talk, it would say something like "Boo, that's boring, why are we doing this? :<" ]
Kagura, stop pretending to be Ishimaru-kun...
[ While Naegi was trying to talk Yumie into staying still, his Zorua took the opportunity to create its illusion. Apparently being a certain kid is a new favourite past time. "Ishimaru" barks at Naegi and then proceeds to weird out the general vicinity by staring at anyone walking by. The illusion itself is rather convincing, but the lack of blinking sends the entire thing right into the uncanny valley. ]

[ Bigger version here. 'Sup, network, today Naegi decided to showcase one of the photos he's taken. In case you can't tell, the photo features a Dragonair and a Ducklett flying above a tree.Yes, I got lazy and used a custom brush for the clouds.
The video shows Naegi sitting on a bench somewhere in Violet and he seems to be in a good mood today, judging by the small smile on his lips. The Dragonair from the picture is curled up beside him and occasionally a snore can be heard from it. ]
Midori evolved into Dragonair today. Isn't she beautiful? I think she was really looking forward to it because she took flight as soon as she evolved. Although I don't really understand how she can fly with those wings. I'm guessing that's just another case of Johto being Johto, huh?
[ There's no logic to how things operate in Pokéworld, really. After almost four months in Johto, Naegi's able to shrug it off as nothing out of the ordinary. His Togetic can fly without flapping its wings so he can accept the head wings. At least they're not Victini's butt wings. ]
I bought a camera so I could capture moments like this one. I'm not really a good photographer, but I like how this one came out and I think it's a great way to preserve memories of my time here.
Speaking of memories, I'd like hear about yours! I know a lot of you want to go home as soon as possible, but I'm sure you've had some good times in this world, too. Things like making new friends, or just enjoying the sights.
[ No, really, tell him about all the positive things Johto has brought you. Having said that, he reaches over to cut the feed. ]

action
So he's a little forewarned by the time he comes circling around a building, said staraptor stalking along at his side.]
Naegi-kun? [A mawile is hanging off of one of his shoulders, somewhere between dozing and just plain lazy. He approaches, nearly doing a double-take at...is that Ishimaru? That unnerving, unblinking stare, though...] What're you doing?
action
Um, I'm trying to get a group picture of my Pokémon.
[ "trying" being the key word, here. ]
action
Trying? [Though, taking one look at the motley crew...] They...don't seem like they want to stay still. [But he smiles at them anyway because ahh they're cute, aren't they?
He understands pokémon restlessness, though-- his mawile is moving to scamper toward Naegi's team before the staraptor plucks her up with his beak, leaving little legs flailing.]
Um, do you think I could help...? Maybe it'd work better if you got in the picture.

video;
[And that's fascinating enough to warrant a remark out of Parker, evidently. But then the camera shuffles a bit as she sets it aside to go through a handful of Pokeballs of her own, and when she inevitably returns, it's with six feet of cheery pink Dratini draped around her shoulders.]
That's pretty cool. They grow up to be like fifteen feet long, right?
video;
And yeah, they grow a lot. She's still surprisingly light, though.
[ jfc how on earth can a dragon/serpent that big weigh like 36.4 lbs, Pokédex? ]
video;
[More importantly, how can it be like thirty-seven pounds and still allow you to use Surf on it. Clearly it is just a massive pool noodle.]
What's her name? Midori?

Sweet! And yeah, guess you could say that.
I'm Sayaka Miki, and I'm actually over in Kanto but I do have some good memories of being in Johto!
(Video)
[ And, you know, not a bunch of sprites on a screen with a very limited palette. ]
(Video)
Sure; it's awesome! I took the ferry from New Bark Town and arrived in Pallet to meet up with some friends of mine. And, I've even got a couple of badges from Kanto too!

Action
It's not a bad hobby, right? But his subjects aren't cooperating, and she can't help a little smile. Maybe she should offer to help.
That's whatn she notices Ishimaru. Except... that's... not really...
Huh.
Making her way over towards Naegi, she's eyeing the illusion rather skeptically.] Umm... Naegi? Having trouble?
[A pause.] ...it's a little creepy.
Action
[ "Ishimaru" grins and snickers in response before letting the illusion fade and leave behind a small fox-like creature. The Zorua looks incredibly pleased. ]

[...and fortunate that Kagura is not currently being him within view of the camera because that's always a little on the surreal side. But at any rate, Ishimaru really does seem pleased; he likes hearing from his classmates once in a while when he's away.
It's not something he ever had reason to care about before; it's a little weird to now. Good-weird, though. Definitely good-weird.]
And Midori has my congratulations as well, of course!
[ He didn't miss the news and his line of thought can be summed up as Ishimaru and Mondo being Rockets + Them going to Pewter = shit involving friends may have happened. ]

I agree with you on physics here being weird, though. My Wartortle can shoot more water than her body possibly could contain.

Congratulations on the evolution! [Happy and triumphant and peaceful dragons - the joy is contagious.] That's a really nice picture.
[Hmm.] A lot of good things have happened here...it's hard to name one. [Oh-] Just today, some ancient Pokemon I caught - I got to revive them. It was a big relief to see them moving around again, and I think they're happy too.
I think anyone would be happy to get another chance like that. I hope they adjust quickly, though-- the world's probably changed a lot during the time they were fossils.

Congrats on your evolution! Y'know, though, Memo here is one of my good memories. Well, not good at the time - she belonged to a young girl, friend of a friend. Her name was Rikku, and she had been here - and she helped me figure out that I might not be fully dead.
[He is super casual about mentioning he's (maybe) dead. Laguna plz.]
I mean, she said she knew Yuna after the Conflict, so... anyway, this girls full name is Senyka Memo. And when I see her, I'm reminded of Rikku - and Yuna a bit, too. [Remembering his friends... as he talks, though, Yunie the Eevee has made her way onto the feed as well, to sit in Lagunas lap like the spoiled girl she is. Haaah, memories. He wishes he got more chances to talk to Rikku, but...]

...Huh? [ Give him a moment, Kaoru. His brain is trying to make sense of this. Emphasis on the word "trying" because there is no way on Arceus's green earth that should be possible. ]

Pictures are a great way to do that! My best friends and I have several albums worth of pictures at this point of our various adventures here. [John is positively beaming as he speaks, seeming almost happily nostalgic.]
That being said, I don't know where to even begin when it comes to talking about the good times we have had here. There are just so many...

[ Either by remembering old ones or by creating new ones, though both would be ideal. He pauses, looking at the video feed. ] You look different, Egbert-kun.
